will i need a ATT sim to unlock it to use on tmobile?

Trying to use CS5 premiere pro (hx of FC express use in the past)

Using media browser to try and import files.

I have a folder from my sony camcorder that has over 130 clips

In media browser, when I go to that directory, it will only show me 40 of them.

Spent OVER 2 hours on phone with adobe support (language issues most of the time...). Not impressed and they're supposed to get back to me.

Can anyone else verify this issue?

Looked around a little but could not find any video and wanted to see someone going through the interface and menus, hopefully putting it through the paces, instead of just popping in and out of a few menu items at leisure.

I hear they finally fixed the lag associated with the menus, wanted to see if this was true even under controlled circumstances to judge for myself.

I ran Geekbench on my i7 2.93 today in OSX and Win 7 64 bit. I only ran both in 32 bit mode because I haven't bought the 64bit version of geekbench yet. My scores were:

OSX 32bit: 9232

Win7 32bit: 8050

Why is it so much slower in Windows? Did I install Boot Camp incorrectly, or is this a normal thing? Thanks.

So obviously I know it has good quality leather and can't deny the colors are nice, but who really wants a huge flap open each time they want to glance at or use the phone?

The only case I would consider getting is the one that only protects the back and the phone just slides in..

I remember my nokia n98 had one of those cases with the flap, and it was soo annoying..

so my question is who actually uses those cases? overrated in my opinion.

First of all I want to say a big grats to this forum and its members. You have been a big help in the past few days for me.
Specially Cindori's Golden Guide http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=877441 That was a big help to me since I'm totally new to this.
I get what I need to do I just can't do it...

I've been trying to flash my XFX Ati HD5770 on Mac Pro 2008. Problem is I'm stuck trying to boot from a CD to flash the card.
Forum member Shapa was kind enough to help me.
I was told and already stumbled upon a thread, to use http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/. On that link there are tons of utilities to download and I had no idea what to download so I just googled "UBCD V5.0" and I downloaded an ISO image. I burned that to a CD. No luck. If I press the 'option' key on bootup all I get is my Mac Drive and the bootcamp drive. No CD. To add to that I know that when I put the HD5770 in the computer I won't even be able to use the 'option' key since the card won't load on mac. So far all I've done with the HD5770 was to test it on Windows (bootcamp) Works fine of course. I have the old X1900 back in now.

Just to test the BOOT CD I've also tried to select under Leopard the CD as Startup Disk. When I boot I end up with is the Mac logo flickering with a Traffic STOP SIGN (circle with line across not actually a Stop sign but you know what I mean). Also Shapa mentioned keeping "c" pressed on bootup. No luck there too. Grey screen forever. Nothing happens.

I already have the vanilla saphire rom and the Mac 5770 rom which has been posted recently. Ready to flash the damn card. Unsure of which one to use but that's the least of my problems at this point.

I've done plenty of research and nothing seems to be working for me and what makes me insane is that it's probably so simple it hurts.

I'm looking for an app that works with the Get Things Done philosophy.

Basically it just needs to do projects and contexts because those are the two main GTD features I use.
But, I'm looking for something to do wireless syncing. Preferably [b]not[\b] wifi syncing I'd like to be able to sync to the cloud and then view that on my Mac or iPad. I know that omnifocus will do this but along with the desktop app it's a bit more that i'd like to spend right now.

I've been using Appigo's ToDo on both iPad and iPhone but the syncing with toodledo is a bit annoying because toodledo doesn't seem to like checklists or projects and makes each checklist item or project item it's own todo which is annoying

I'd be very grateful for suggestions

So i've tried researching this for myself by doing system traces etc.. Mac Mail, iChat and other programs call a red badge when one has a new message or piece of mail.

I would like to edit the badge to a different image if possible. Only problem is i don't know where the programs are calling it from. Is it a system wide resource or part of the application contents?

I have a 27" iMac with Snow Leopard. I have iStat Menus installed and it has a network monitor that shows incoming and outgoing bandwidth usage. It is currently showing 1mb/sec uploading and I don't know what process is doing it. Is there an easy way to tell what program or process is uploading data through my network connection (it's wired, not wireless).

For some reason, a couple days ago the 'featured' tab for the AppStore on my iPhone has stopped working, everything else works fine otherwise.

It says 'the iTunes store cannot complete your request, please try again later'

How can I fix this?
